Constellation isn’t technically a crime drama. It’s a psychological thriller starring Noomi Rapace and Jonathan Banks. Of course, with a psychological thriller, usually comes some sort of crime that’s committed.
The question is what that crime will be. This is a series that looks like a space show at first glance, but it is set to be far more than that.
Constellation premieres on Wednesday, Feb. 21 on Apple TV+. The first three episodes will be released at once and then the rest of the season will air weekly, with the finale airing on Wednesday, March 27.
Going into a new series, though, you’ll want to know what it is about. Sure, the casting is set to pull you in, but you need to know that this is a show for you.
Constellation on Apple TV+ synopsis
The series follows Jo, an astronaut who returns to Earth after a space disaster. That sounds pretty common and normal, except that Jo realizes that some of her life is missing. What is going on?
Jo has to expose the truth about the hidden history of space travel. She needs to delve into everything that she has lost to be able to get some of the key pieces of her life back. It’s a look at the dark edges of human psychology.
This series certainly has a feeling of Homecoming on Prime Video. You’ll want to check out the series to see if it really is a space version of that. One thing that is clear is that there’s a major conspiracy going on when it comes to space travel in this universe.
Constellation is coming to Apple TV+ on Wednesday, Feb. 21.
