2. The Bletchley Circle
Next up, we have a UK series. This one is a period drama set just after the war. Four women have gone back to their regular lives after working as code breakers at Bletchley Park during World War II. They seem to be normal housewives and women of the time, but they are smart and can figure out far more that’s going on in the world.
When there’s a murder, Susan and the others get together to find the pieces of the puzzle that the cops are missing. The four friends will need to work together to bring the culprit to justice if they want to protect their city.
The Bletchley Circle is on Tubi, Pluto TV, Freevee, and Peacock.
1. Blue Bloods
We end with another procedural series. You can jump into an episode or two this Christmas without feeling like you’re only getting part of the story. Plus, Blue Bloods is going to give you the family dinners that you’ll want to feel part of this time of year.
The series follows the Reagans. The have the blue line running through them, and they are extremely close. They all work in slightly different parts of the police force, giving us a different view of the same job.
Blue Bloods is available to stream on Paramount+.
