2. Bodyguard

You don’t have a long time to binge a full series of multiple seasons. So, you’ll want a limited series, and this British crime drama is perfect. It’s time to turn your attention to Bodyguard.

Richard Madden stars as veteran-turned-bodyguard David Budd. After stopping a suicide bomber on a train, he ends up assigned to protect conservative politician Julia Montague. However, when she’s killed, he ends up being the prime suspect for her murder.

Budd needs to prove his innocence. Of course, that means going on the run, but he ends up in the middle of a conspiracy that is going to be impossible to get out of.

Bodyguard is available to stream on Netflix.

1. Criminal Minds

If you do want to watch a few episodes of a long-running series, Criminal Minds is the one for Christmas Eve. It follows the BAU, a team of federal agents who use psychological behavior to get to the bottom of the various cases they need to deal with.

In the earlier seasons, each episode was its own case. However, if you want a limited series style of story, you’ll want to turn to Criminal Minds: Evolution, the revival from 2022. It follows Elias Voit, who is the main UnSub who controls many others.

There is a much bigger story that pushes us into a second season of the revival. That second season will start filming in January, so now is the time to catch up and get ready for it.
