Poker Face

How about a crime drama that has a bit of comedy and doesn’t follow the same “whodunit” storyline? Poker Face starring Natasha Lyonne is a must-watch. It’s a great series that follows the “howdunit” instead.

Lyonne is a woman who can tell when people are lying to her. She just has that ability, and she will call BS when someone lies. This is something that comes in handy as she goes from town to town on the run from a casino boss after the death of his son. She will help the cops figure out who killed the person in each town and exactly how it happened.

Poker Face is on Peacock.

Bodies

If you’re looking for something a little different, you’ll want to turn to Bodies. This follows a story that involves detectives from different time periods solving the same case. Say what? You’ll definitely need to check out the series just to understand how this is possible.

You will need to pay attention to this series. It’s not one to watch while you’re scrolling on Facebook or doing a puzzle just so you have background noise. There is a lot going on and clues to help you solve the time-jumping mystery.

Bodies is available to stream on Netflix.
