Rossi unpacks the past in Criminal Minds: Evolution Season 2, Episode 8 (Preview)
Rossi was outed in the recent episode of Criminal Minds: Evolution. Dr. Jill Gideon made it clear that Rossi didn’t leave the BAU because of bureaucracy, but because the two of them had an affair.
Rossi didn’t want Jill brought in to help with the Gold Star case. Sure, the BAU could do with her help when it comes to figuring out who could be using the unpublished white paper. She knew all about it, and she helped create the BAU back in the day. However, Rossi didn’t want the past to come up.
Well, it’s going to come up. The synopsis for Episode 8 tells us that he needs to unpack the past with an old flame. The question now is whether the show will bring Jill in as a love interest for Rossi moving forward. I hope they don’t!
Tyler and Rebecca team up in Criminal Minds: Evolution Season 2, Episode 8
Rossi isn’t the only one with a storyline put in focus in the synopsis. It looks like Rebecca is finally willing to look past Tyler’s criminal history. She realizes that he can get the job done. Plus, Tyler would like to start doing things the right way. So, the two are going to team up.
They need to tackle the Voit situation. During the previous episode, Voit tasked his lawyer to give something to Damien. Tyler and Rebecca will find out Voit’s lawyer is up to something, and they’ll want to tackle that situation. It’s the way to get to Voit, proving that he isn’t working with the BAU in good faith as a way to negate on the deal.
Of course, Gold Star is still important. Jade and Damien are on a killing spree, and the BAU will need to follow them and find a way to stop them. With three episodes left in the season, we know that it’s not going to happen overnight.
Take a look at the synopsis for the episode:
"The BAU tries to get ahead of Jade and Damien who are on a killing spree. Rossi must confront an old flame to unpack the secrets behind the Gold Star program. Tyler and Rebecca attempt to gain leverage over Elias Voit’s lawyer."
