The first photos for our favorite crime dramas are out. That includes FBI: International, and it means we get a look at the potential characters who could die in the Season 3 premiere.

Fans will remember that the Season 2 finale left on a major cliffhanger. An explosion in HQ left all lives on the line. The majority of the team was inside the building. Raines was on the way to the building as the explosion happened, blasting him back.

The only team member we’re not worried about is Tank. He’d been a good boy and stayed where he was told to while Raines took him for a walk. The photos for the season are out, and we’re worried about two character fates.

Which characters are we worried about in FBI: International Season 3?

When we learned Heida Reed would leave as Jamie Kellett in “early Season 3” we worried that it meant she would be the casualty. However, Kellett is in some of the photos from the premiere with just some minor injuries.

The photos are strategically missing two characters. We don’t see Raines or Smitty in any of the photos. This could suggest that one of the two will be a casualty of the explosion.

It doesn’t make sense for it to be Smitty. She’s the Europol agent rather than an FBI agent. She helps the team deal with international authorities as they travel, and we only just got to meet her in the second season when she took over from Christiane Paul’s Jaeger.

While Raines would seem unlikely considering he was outside of the building, it would have a big effect in terms of storyline. The Fly Team would be worried about those inside the building before him. There would be a lot of focus on getting into the building from the outside, so he could end up being missed. This could lead to internal injuries. Raines is the most underdeveloped character from the series, so it would be sad to see him go, but it opens the door for Powell to join the team full-time.
