Don't expect any new episodes of FBI: Most Wanted in January 2024
We’re used to shows coming back in January. At least, that’s the case for most broadcast networks, as people stay in to save money after a busy holiday season. The bad news for FBI: Most Wanted fans is that won’t be the case this year.
The 2023–2024 season has been heavily disrupted due to the strike action throughout the summer. Production couldn’t start up until the end of November, so it’s not surprising to hear that most shows aren’t coming back just yet.
NBC opted for January premiere dates. Most other networks have opted to bring shows back after the Super Bowl. In some good news, there is a light at the end of the tunnel for FBI: Most Wanted’s return.
When will FBI: Most Wanted Season 5 premiere on CBS?
The date for the return is officially set. We’ll get new episodes of FBI: Most Wanted starting on Tuesday, Feb. 13. Episodes will air at 10 p.m. ET/PT, following new episodes of FBI and FBI: International as usual.
There are some changes coming to the story this season. During the summer, we learned that Alexa Davalos won’t return as Kristin Gaines. This isn’t Davalos’s choice, but a creative one and we don’t have time to say goodbye. The Season 4 finale was her last episode.
We don’t need to meet a completely new character, though. FBI’s Nina Chase is coming into the story. Yes, we’ll get to see Shantal VanSanten on our screens, and it will be interesting to see how that plays out with Scola in the flagship series considering the two just welcomed a baby.
The rest of the team will stick around. We’ll be interested to see what happens with Remy, who was struggling with his place with the FBI after learning that the whole reason he chose this career was based on a lie.
FBI: Most Wanted Season 5 premieres on Tuesday, Feb. 13 at 10/9c on CBS. Catch up the following day on Paramount+.
