FBI: Most Wanted Season 6 will premiere in October 2024
The good news for everyone this summer is that the wait for new episodes of our favorite shows isn’t going to be as long as last summer. FBI: Most Wanted Season 6 is going to be part of the fall lineup, and fall is happening mostly as it should.
However, there is a slightly longer-than-normal wait for fall shows. If we take the pandemic and the strike years out of the equation, we usually see CBS premiere shows in September. Fall 2024 is looking a little different, with shows premiering in October instead.
This could be due to CBS potentially reducing episode counts. We’re used to 22 to 24 episodes per season, but there’s a chance that a lot of shows will get 18 to 20 episodes. A delayed start will mean not as many breaks in the schedule in the 2025 part of the season. CBS hasn’t confirmed this yet, though.
FBI: Most Wanted Season 6 premiere date on CBS
The FBI: Most Wanted Season 6 premiere will air on Tuesday, Oct. 15. The episode will air at 10 p.m. ET/PT, straight after the premieres of FBI Season 7 and FBI: International Season 4. Yes, all three shows are delayed to October.
It’s not clear what to expect in the premiere just yet. The FBI: Most Wanted Season 5 finale didn’t end with much of a cliffhanger. At least, not one that puts the future of the team at risk.
The main cliffhanger has been with Barnes’s storyline. She and her wife Charlotte are going through marital problems. Charlotte realized that she had fallen for someone else, and eventually, she decided that she wanted a divorce. She even wanted to take their children to another state, which Barnes was fully against. It’s possible that we’ll see a custody battle between the two mothers in the new season.
Meanwhile, Nine Chase is the newest member of the team, and she initially butted heads with Remy Scott. We have also seen her home life with partner Scola, who she has a child with. Scola is part of FBI, and it offers some crossover possibilities as we see more of their home life. Things aren’t smooth sailing between the two of them as Chase’s job is far more dangerous than Scola’s, and it takes Chase away from their family unit more.
There are going to be some big cases for the Fugitive Task Force to take on in each episode. We’ll also see the private lives of other characters, including the newly married Ray Cannon.
