It’s been a long wait, but at last, FBI is coming back! Here’s a peek at what to expect in the FBI Season 6 premiere.
Fans of FBI have had to put up with a very long delay as the show, like all CBS series, was affected by the strikes hitting Hollywood in the summer of 2023. There were concerns the series may not make its expected Season 6 at all.
Thankfully, with the strikes settled last November, the show is returning and looks to be a great mix of action and personal drama once more. That picks up from the Season 5 finale, where the team was distracted from a case by Scola (John Boyd) handling Nina (Shantel VanSanten) going into labor with a difficult health scare.
Scola even told the doctors that if it came to do it, they should save Nina rather than the child. Thankfully, both came out okay, with the team celebrating Scola being a dad.
This sets up the Season 6 premiere as the team hit the ground running with a new and deadly case.
What’s coming on FBI Season 6 premiere?
“All the Rage” opens with a bus explosion in New York, which is an “all hands on deck” situation with the team trying to find out if this is the opening salvo in a bigger attack.
"When a bus explosion kills several innocent people, the team jumps into action to take down the responsible terrorist organization. Meanwhile, Scola tries to balance fatherhood with the job."
The main story looks to be another exciting case, but it’s more intriguing with Scola handling being a dad and an agent. It’s more interesting as Nina is now joining the FBI: Most Wanted team, meaning the pair are more apart. Scola has always been focused on the job first, but being a dad may affect him in the field, and he is less willing to take risks.
Between the action and the personal stories, FBI is hitting the ground running to make Season 6 better than ever.
FBI Season 6 premiere airs on Tuesday, Feb. 13 at 8/7c on CBS. Catch up the following day on Paramount+.
