You probably noticed a lack of promotional material for the FBI shows after the latest episodes. That’s because the three Tuesday shows are taking a night off on Tuesday, March 5.
We will have reruns throughout the night. This is surprising for some as it is Super Tuesday. Many may have expected some news coverage throughout the night. Even NBC has a 10 p.m. slot coverage for results, but CBS doesn’t have that listed.
So, what’s the reason behind the break, and when will the three shows return?
Super Tuesday could be the reason for the FBI break
It is possible that it’s still linked to Super Tuesday. There are going to be a lot of people out voting, and CBS won’t want to affect the live ratings because of this. Yet, ABC has opted for a full night of new episodes.
This could also be linked to needing a break in the schedule. There are set to be 13 episodes of the three shows this season. Considering CBS likes to air finales toward the middle or end of May, it would mean some breaks are needed here and there. Working it with Super Tuesday makes a lot of sense.

When will FBI Tuesday return with new episodes?
CBS hasn’t shared how long this break is going to be. We’re not expecting it to be too long. A week makes sense, so we could see new episodes air on Tuesday, March 12. However, there is no guarantee of that at the time of writing this.
It’s something we’ll keep an eye on. If the show is only taking a week off, we expect promos for the three shows to be released on Tuesday, March 5.
FBI Tuesday shows are all available to stream on Paramount+.
