Found could return with new episodes in 2024

Found has come to an end. Well, for the first season, at least.

There is some great news when it comes to this series. NBC renewed it toward the end of 2023, so we know that we can expect more. And boy, do we need more after the way the first season ended.

We’re left with a lot of questions. Now we just have to wait for the return of the series. Will we need to wait until 2025? There is a chance that we’ll get the new episodes this year.

Found Season 2 could premiere in fall 2024

There is a chance that NBC will keep this series as a fall show. It was originally planned as a midseason series, but it was moved to this fall when NBC saw the writing on the wall with the strike action. The move of this meant that NBC had some fresh content to air in fall 2023, and it paid off.

Viewers tuned in, and they were impressed. That’s not surprising with Found’s smart writing and intriguing storylines. Gabi isn’t the most likable main character, but that’s what makes her so great. She is unapologetically flawed, and it was hard not to empathize with her as she deal with everything Sir did to her in the past.

So, with the audience now here, NBC may have more faith that the show can work as a fall show even with a regular program. If NBC chooses to make Law & Order: Organized Crime a midseason show again, the new episodes could follow the other two Law & Order shows on Thursdays just as the original plan was going to be.

This is even assuming that NBC will renew the One Chicago and Law & Order franchises. With the cost cutting measures, there is a chance that some of the more expensive shows will be canceled during this season, opening the fall schedule more for Found to get a good timeslot to succeed.

With the way the first season has gone, we certainly expect to see Found Season 2 in fall 2024.
