We’re preparing ourselves for Season 3 of CSI: Vegas, and what better way than to look back at the show that started it all? With 15 seasons under its belt, CSI had no shortage of famous guest stars who would play anyone from murder victims to suspects, delighting audiences every week.

There is still plenty of time to catch up on CSI: Vegas before the show returns on Sunday, February 18 at 10/9c on CBS. Seasons one and two are also available on Paramount+. If you haven’t caught up, make sure you do so you aren’t confused when the season premieres!

When season 3 premieres on CBS, a character is in jeopardy after being accused of a crime. Are they innocent? Only time will tell. Until then, we’re looking back at the original series and when famous guest stars made an appearance.

Here are just 9 celebrities who were among those who starred on the original CSI

The original CSI focused on the team led by Gil Grissom, played by William Petersen. He even returned for CSI: Vegas for a short time alongside original cast members Jorja Fox as Sara Sidle and Marg Helgenberger as Catherine Willows. We also got to catch up with Eric Szmanda’s Greg Sanders.

Of course, it isn’t just the original cast members we love to remember! CSI brought on so many guest stars, many of whom you’d recognize to this day.

Taylor Swift

Besides being known for her musical talents, Swift also appeared on the series in Season 9 as a murder victim. Her character, Haley Jones, appeared in Season 9, Episode 16 “Turn, Turn, Turn.” Swift got to play the victim and appeared in flashbacks where she interacted with at least one of the investigators, Nick Stokes (George Eads).
