Has Street left SWAT for good?

With Alex Russell being demoted to recurring guest star in the SWAT final season, we knew that would likely mean Street would be written out. Has the series just done it?

We were certainly disappointed to find out that Alex Russell’s Street wouldn’t be in all episodes of SWAT Season 7. The series quickly wrote it in that he was in San Diego with 30-Squad, but we got to see him in the fifth episode.

Street and 30-Squad ended up in L.A. and teamed up with 20-Squad to deal with a biker gang. During the episode, Bruce Jones, the leader of 30-Squad was shot. He didn’t survive surgery, and Street had a choice to make.

Has Street left 20-Squad for good?

Street told Hondo that the team needed a leader. It was clear that he was someone the rest of the team looked up to. Hondo had taught Street well. Of course, Hondo was supportive of Street’s decision.

Street did attempt an Irish goodbye with the rest of the team. However, Tan caught up to Street in the parking lot. That’s where Street shared what he was doing and we had another important goodbye. Tan and Street have been there for each other so many times.

What’s going on with Street and Chris in SWAT?

While we probably won’t see Lina Esco in the final season, we did get a Stris update. It turns out that the two are still together.

Street told Tan that they would see each other in L.A. again. After all, Tan will need to be at his and Chris’s engagement party.

However, Street asked Tan not to say anything to Chris yet. It looks like he’s getting ready to propose, and we all know that Chris is going to say yes. The two of them have been through too much for her to get cold feet on that one. Hopefully, we will get to see them at the end. The show better include that engagement party!
