Killing Eve is heading back to BritBox in July 2024
If you’re a fan of Killing Eve, you’ll want to rewatch the show as much as possible. Well, the first three seasons. Anyone else pretending that the fourth season doesn’t exist?
Well, the series is on the move again. After just landing on Netflix in the United States, it is heading over to BritBox. Only the first two seasons will arrive on the streamer in July, with the other two seasons likely on the list of August releases.
Wait, did you miss Killing Eve the first time? Well, let’s dive into these first two seasons.
Killing Eve Season 1 drops in full on July 16
Get Tuesday, July 16 in your diary. That’s when all eight episodes of Killing Eve Season 1 will arrive on the streamer.
Based on Luke Jennings’s Villanelle novellas, the series follows Eve, a whip-smart MI5 security officer who is bored with her life stuck to the desk. She wants to be a real spy, and those dreams are about to be answered.
Villanelle is a talented killer who is about to make Eve’s life a nightmare—or a dream, depending on the way you want to view it. The two end up in a cat-and-mouse game, that could end up bringing up more feelings than just that of the thrill of the chase.
Killing Eve Season 2 arrives a week later
You’ll then need to get Tuesday, July 23 in your diary. That’s when all eight episodes of Killing Eve Season 2 will arrive.
Without giving too much away about the events of Season 1, Eve has to deal with the fallout of her actions. Villanelle is still a problem, and their cat-and-mouse game continues. The MI6 ends up with the task of a much bigger threat than Villanelle, and Eve may have a way to add more excitement to her life.
What does this mean for Killing Eve on Netflix?
BritBox has confirmed that it will not have exclusive streaming rights to Killing Eve. That suggests that all seasons will remain on Netflix as well.
