Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 4, Episode 4 has Stabler handling a deadly gang and a family dinner…and the latter may be more dangerous. Take a look at what to expect in the new episode
The current Season 4 of Law & Order: Organized Crime has been balancing several plotlines. The big one is the task force investigating the bombing of a mosque that appeared to be a hate crime. But Officer Bashir from the Hate Crimes division made them realize it was actually a hit on someone.
It turns out a gang called Los Santos was using refugees to smuggle drugs and other items into the U.S. While they stopped an assassin, the team still had problems making a case.
This appears to play into Episode 4, “The Last Supper,” with Peter Scanavino making a cameo as Carisi to help out. It looks like he plays a part in this case, protecting a witness against the gang.
What to expect in Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 4, Episode 4
"Bell and the team must keep a witness and her family safe from Los Santos before she testifies. Carisi asks Stabler to back off the case to preserve the integrity of his undercover work. Stabler hosts a chaotic family dinner."
The majority of the episode appears to be about that, but it can also play on the ongoing drama of the Jet and Reyes affair. It turned out both Stabler and Bell had figured out the duo slept together and warned them about having it interfere with the case.
Those concerns were founded when Reyes lost it when Jet was threatened in the field and put a beatdown on a suspect. That had him put on desk duty, and realizing he needed some anger therapy.
Stabler also reunited with younger brother Joe, who’s back in New York. It looks like the brothers are going to throw a dinner for mother Bernadette that’s likely to get messy.
So, between the thrill of the witness protection and the Stabler family drama, this new Law & Order: Organized Crime episode looks to keep up a bold Season 4.
Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 4 airs Thursdays at 10/9c on NBC and streams on Peacock the following day.
