It's time to learn more about Sir in Found Season 2
Found Season 1 introduced us to Sir, giving us a little bit of a backstory. Most of that came from the information Gabi knew about him, such as him being her teacher and holding her hostage. Found Season 2 will need to explore more.
The M&A team is fractured. Sir isn’t just free, but he also has Lacey. The team is still reeling from the secrets Gabi kept throughout the first season, and they’re struggling to trust her again. That’s not too surprising. She knew that this was going to happen when the truth came out, right?
On top of that, Gabi feels all the guilt in the world. It’s because of her that Sir got free and went after Lacey. Now she needs to do everything she can to save Lacey, but the guilt threatens to take over.
To catch Sir, the M&A team need to know more about him in Found Season 2
Michael Cassidy will come into the second season to play a grief counsellor called Christian. He will help to pull the audience into Sir’s past even more, getting to know more about him and his motivations. So far, we’ve only worked with Gabi’s knowledge of the man, but what led to Sir becoming to monster that he is today?
Christian will also help to keep the M&A team on track. Everyone wants to capture Sir, but they likely won’t all be able to work together. Christian will help to ensure the end goal is met. This is sure to take a few episodes this season. After all, we can’t lose Sir after just the premiere episode, can we?
Showrunner Nkechi Okoro Carroll told TVLine:
"Having a character like Christian come aboard is a way for [M&A and the audience] to get to know more about Sir in a way that we couldn’t in just his interactions with [teen and adult] Gabi."
Dione Gipson and Danielle Savre will also star in Found Season 2, but there are very few details about their characters. It’s going to be exciting to see how they fit in as the M&A team put their focus on catching Sir.
Found Season 2 premieres on Thursday, Oct. 3 at 10/9c on NBC.
