Murder in a Small Town gets a September premiere date at a special time

There is a new Kristin Kreuk drama heading to Fox in fall 2024. Murder in a Small Town is the one to look out for, and now we know when it will premiere.

Fox is the last of the big broadcast networks to announce premiere dates. Like NBC and ABC, it’s looking to add a lot of shows to September, but there is one that will be held until October. That one is Accused.

Murder in a Small Town will premiere in September, and it’s getting a special timeslot as it’s the only show airing new episodes that night.

When will Murder in a Small Town premiere?

Fox has set the premiere date for Murder in a Small Town as Tuesday, Sept. 24. The episode will air at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

The show will move to the timeslot an hour later the following week. That’s when Accused Season 2 will premiere, which is set to kick off Tuesday nights. It does make more sense to have an established show on first as it already has an audience. Of course, Kreuk has her own loyal fanbase who are sure to turn to Fox to check out her new series.

What is Murder in a Small Town about?

The new crime series follows Detective Karl Alberg who moves to a small Sunshine Coast community, where it’s supposed to be quiet and relaxing. However, as he arrives, there is a string of murders. He and his partner Edwina Yen need to figure out the case before there’s another victim. The problem is small towns know how to keep a lot of things a secret.

Kreuk plays Cassandra Mitchell, Alberg’s longtime love. In the novel that the series is based on, the murders start on the day he is supposed to marry Cassandra. Will the wedding go ahead, and is this how the new series will start? We’ll have to wait to see. At least there isn’t too long to wait!
