My Life Is Murder Season 4 finale recap: Did Alexa kill out of revenge?
Alexa Crowe found herself on the wrong side of a murder investigation in the My Life Is Murder Season 4 finale. We knew she didn’t do it, but who wanted to frame her and why?
Caution: This post contains spoilers for the My Life Is Murder Season 4 finale.
The two episodes of My Life Is Murder Season 4 saw Alexa head to a golf club. She needed her brother Will to help get a membership, as the misogynistic club would only deal with men! However, the wives were more than able to drink and enjoy the amenities.
While Will played golf badly, Alexa sat with “The Widows,” a group of three women with two dead husbands between them. One of those was a recent potential murder. The third woman wasn’t a widow, but her husband was sure she was going to try to kill him.
Alexa’s past comes back to haunt her in My Life Is Murder
The first hour initially focused on the murder investigation, but things changed when the victim’s wife landed a new boyfriend rather quickly. That boyfriend, Ray, turned out to be someone from Alexa’s past. He was the man who killed her husband.
At the end of the first hour, Alexa confronted Ray. She wanted to share everything she felt after the death of her husband. It brought her closure, but it also led to her becoming the prime suspect in a murder investigation when Ray turned up dead.
Did she do it? Harry knows that she didn’t, but he needs to work the investigation. When he serves her the warrant, Alexa uses the chance to get out of the house and continue her own investigation.
Who killed Charlie and Ray in My Life Is Murder?
At first, it looked like the three widows had potentially worked together to kill off husbands. However, Alexa and Madison’s investigation helped them realize that Iris was the one. She had given up her career to care for her own sick husband. She then needed the women in the group to want to hang out with her rather than their husbands.
Jealous of the men, Iris killed Charlie. She then found a way to kill Ray and put the blame on Alexa. After all, she realized that Alexa was investigating Charlie’s death, and she needed to get away with it. She initially looked like she was going to run off a cliff to escape the police when Alexa figured out the truth, but in the end, she turned herself in.
And so, it comes to the end of another season of My Life Is Murder. The way this one ended, it certainly looks like it could be the final season, but we hope to see more of Alexa and co. back soon.
