There is no doubt that you’re ready for more My Life Is Murder. The good news is Season 4 is almost here, and the trailer gives us a hint at some of the weird and wacky cases to solve.

Alexa Crowe is officially back, and she is more than ready to get her teeth stuck into the cases this time. It looks like someone is investigating her, though. Is this a journalist for a story, or is someone out to get her? That remains to be seen, but she doesn’t know the name of the cat—it’s Chowder, by the way!

The fourth season brings eight new cases over the course of eight new episodes. Two episodes arrive each week, giving us something to look forward to as the week begins again.

My Life Is Murder Season 4 premieres in June

We will need to wait a little for the season, though. My Life Is Murder Season 4 premieres on Monday, June 17. It will also air on BBC America, with the premiere episode airing at 9 p.m. ET/PT and the second episode airing at 10 p.m. ET/PT. After that, one episode will air each week until Monday, July 22 when the two-episode finale will air.

All episodes will be on Acorn TV. This is where the three previous seasons are out as well.

Like the trailers for the previous seasons, this one focuses on Alexa Crowe and her relationships with various people in her whanau—her chosen family. We will get to see more of Madison, who will step up even more than before to use her technical skills to aid in the investigations. I love how this relationship has grown over the years.

We also get a brief look at Alexa interacting with her brother Will, Detective Harry, and Reuben, the café owner we came to love in Season 2. There are some demons of the past coming up, but Alexa is also focused on solving the many cases.

There’s a look at two of the deaths. One is by a tennis ball machine that malfunctions, and another is by an arrow to the back. One could be accidental, but this is a crime drama and we know that’s not usually the case. Who wanted the man dead, and why force the tennis ball machine to malfunction?
