It's not a case of cold feet in NCIS Season 21, Episode 4

After walking a mile in the shoes of other departments, the team is back to their regular jobs in NCIS Season 21, Episode 4.

The team spent an episode walking in the shoes of other departments. Now they’re back to their regular schedules, and it’s just in time for another murder in NCIS Season 21, Episode 4.

The previous episode was certainly fun to watch. I love how Knight just threw herself into it all, while McGee and Torres struggled a little. Palmer was hilarious with his shouting—did someone not tell him to wear eardefenders? That’s rule 101—and Kasie certainly took everything in her stride.

Now the team is back to normal, and it’s time for another case. Is this a case of cold feet? Definitely not.

The promo gives us a look at the case. A petty officer goes missing, and it looks like he decided to run away before he proposed to his girlfriend. However, there is footage that would suggest otherwise.

It turns out that this guy was attacked just before his proposal. What happened, and why? That is something the whole team will need to figure out.

The synopsis doesn’t go into that much extra detail. All we know is that the petty officer will go missing just before he proposes. Everything is set up in a romantic way, so why would someone choose then to disrupt that. What is the petty officer actually up to?

One thing I hope to see in this episode or for the rest of the season is for the team not to forget everything they learned when working with the other departments. Too often, TV shows do these fun episodes and see how different teams work together and then forget all about it later on. There is a lot that Torres, McGee, and Knight took from their Walk-a-Mile Day, so can we have more of that?
