Is there a new episode of Chicago PD on NBC tonight? (February 14)

Wednesdays are all about the One Chicago lineup on NBC. While there are episodes on tonight, there isn’t anything new. Chicago PD and the other shows are taking a break.

This sort of break isn’t all that surprising. We just have to take a look at the date. It’s Valentine’s Day. A lot of people who usually watch the show are likely to be out on date nights. If they’re not out with others, they may spend the night doing some self-care or turning their attention to some anti-Valentine’s Day content.

That leads to lower linear ratings for TV shows. NBC won’t want to risk its own shows, so taking a break makes a lot of sense. It’s just annoying for those of us who are staying in and would prefer new episodes.

When will Chicago PD return with new episodes?

There is some good ns in this break. It isn’t going to be a long one. NBC is only taking a week off from new episodes of One Chicago. Just keep in mind that the Law & Order shows are also taking a week off.

There will be a new episode of Chicago PD on Wednesday, Feb. 21. It will air at 10 p.m. ET/PT as usual, with it dropping on Peacock the following day.

We do have a look at the new episode already. This is an Atwater-centric story, with him losing his confidence as there are a string of jewelry store robberies that Intelligence needs to investigate. It’s not clear why Atwater loses his confidence, though. After all, all we see in the promo is that he finds out a witness lies to him. This is not the first witness to tell a lie.
