Is a new episode of FBI: Most Wanted on CBS tonight? (March 5)

Tuesdays are FBI night. That's still the case on Tuesday, March 5, but it's not with new episodes.

“Footsteps” – The Fugitive Task Force launches into full gear after multiple bombings appear to be targeting retired NYPD officers. Also, Ray decides he’s ready to take the next step in his relationship with Cora, on FBI: MOST WANTED, Tuesday, Feb. 20 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, or on demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs). It’s FBI Night on CBS. That means we get a whole night of the three Dick Wolf shows, and Tuesday, March 5 is no different with the night ending with FBI: Most Wanted.

However, there is a small change. We’re not getting new episodes of the three shows. It’s a night of reruns, partly thanks to Super Tuesday. The linear ratings are sure to take a dive while people get out to vote, so it makes sense to pre-empt shows.

CBS is opting for a rerun of the Season 5 premiere, so you’ll get another chance to see how Nina comes into the team and the way she already sets a tone with Remy Scott.

When will FBI: Most Wanted return with new episodes?

CBS hasn’t set the date for the shows to come back at the time of writing this. We’re looking at potentially just a week off, though. After all, there should have been enough time for production schedules to remain ahead, and the show is sure to take a break later on in the season. Usually, at this point of the year, we see one-week breaks here and there.

It will be interesting to see what happens when the series returns. Hana certainly loved mentoring a recent Quantico graduate. When she learned the graduate was living in a hotel, she decided to offer her place. Hana and Ray are away a lot, so now they have someone who will be able to keep the place a little safer while they’re gone. Could this turn into a problem, though?

What I’d love to see is Hana have someone to team up with on her vigilante mission. This could be a great storyline to cover, even without Gaines around.

FBI: Most Wanted airs on Tuesdays at 10/9c on CBS. Catch up the following day on Paramount+.
