No, there are no new episodes of NCIS in June 2024 (but we know when it will return)

NCIS Season 21 came to an end with the hint of a cast exit. When will we get some real answers about what Knight is going to do? Here's when NCIS Season 22 will return.

Our eyes are on when our favorite TV shows will return. There are no new episodes of NCIS in June 2024. That isn’t all too surprising since it’s the summer. Fans really want to know when the series will be back.

There are a lot of questions for NCIS Season 22 right now. The biggest is whether Jessica Knight is actually leaving. At the end of Season 21, she chose to take the job opportunity that would take her to the other side of the country. However, the series is still staying silent about whether Katrina Law is actually leaving the show permanently or not.

Is it possible that we’ll see Knight return? The show has certainly done this before, creating a realistic storyline of someone going on to do something else but realizing it’s not for them (or in DiNozzo’s case, being forced out of the team only for the team to find a way to come back together).

We just have to wait until Season 22 to get some answers. I doubt we’ll have any spoilers in the lead up to the premiere. So, when is the premiere?

NCIS returns with new episodes in fall 2024

There is some great news for fans. CBS has set the fall schedule and NCIS Season 22 will premiere then. There is no need to wait until 2025.

The wait for Season 21 was purely linked to the strike action. CBS did initially want to bring the show back in the fall, so we had no doubts that that would be the case for Season 22 as well. There are little risks to writing and production this year, so it should mean that fall schedules work out as planned.

CBS just hasn’t set the premiere dates yet. That news is likely to come in July once production is underway. We can take a guess of sorts, though. We’re looking at around the middle to the end of September, which is usually when CBS brings shows back.

The show will air on Mondays at 9 p.m. ET/PT. It will be followed by NCIS: Origins, the Young Gibbs spin-off series.

If we had to take a guess at a premiere date right now, we’d say Monday, Sept. 23 as the premiere date. That’s around the usual time.
