Apple TV+ has some great crime and legal thrillers. The latest one to hit airwaves is Presumed Innocent starring Jake Gyllenhaal.
Based on the Scott Turow novel of the same name, the series follows Rusty, a successful prosecutor who finds himself on the wrong side of the law. After the murder of a colleague, he ends up becoming the prime suspect. Of course, every successful person has an enemy, and that enemy uses Rusty’s situation to his advantage.
Now Rusty needs to find a way to prove his innocence. The question for many of us as we watch is whether he really is innocent or not. What are the chances that he was framed for murder? And if he was, who did it?
The only way to find out is by watching episodes drop. When will new episodes come to Apple TV+?
Presumed Innocent release schedule
The limited series will arrive weekly. Two episodes are out right now, and they have already captured out attention. Here’s when the rest of the season will come out:
June 12: Episodes 1 and 2
June 19: Episode 3
June 26: Episode 4
July 3: Episode 5
July 10: Episode 6
July 17: Episode 7
July 24: Episode 8
This is an eight-episode miniseries, so Wednesday, July 24 is when you can binge-watch the entire series. You’ll certainly want to watch weekly to put all the pieces of the puzzle together. Then you’ll want to binge-watch to see what you missed along the way.
This is based on a book, so you can find out how it all ends there. Of course, what’s to say that David E. Kelley will follow the book exactly? He has form for both following the book and not fully, so it’s hard to make a call at this point.
