Bull

This isn’t quite a crime drama. It’s more a legal drama, but every now and then, the case is criminal in nature. This is one to watch for the psychology behind the cases.

Michael Weatherly plays Dr. Bull, a psychiatrist who runs a company that helps people in legal cases. He uses psychology to figure out the best jury for a case. After all, legal teams get the opportunity to veto certain members of a jury before the case. He then uses psychology to figure out whether they can win the case or not.

What can they do during the trial to get jurors on their side? That’s something he and his team need to work out. Trial science is a real thing.

Alert: Missing Persons Unit

The new FOX series has only just started its second season, but it’s something that you’ll want to watch while waiting for Found. This is one of those shows that also offers procedural and serialized storylines at the same time.

The first season sees the return of Nikki and Jason’s son, who went missing years earlier. However, it’s soon clear that Keith may not be Keith, and so starts a season-long storyline of who he is and what he wants. While all that happens, Nikki and Jason work with others to help find missing people.

Yes, there’s a missing person aspect to the story. They often work on cases that would often go unreported by the TV, which makes for a similar storyline to Found.

Catch up on Alert on Hulu.
