This NBC series Taken is both a prequel and reboot of the Liam Neeson Taken movies. Clive Standen takes over the role of Bryan Mills, a Green Beret who loses his sister in a terrorist attack. Out for revenge, Brian discovers he was the real target and joins a secret CIA operation led by Jennifer Beals to find out more.
The series rests on great action, which can be a reminder of the films in the fight scenes. There's also plenty of plot twists and some great international locations. This is perfect for Reacher fans to show just how Bryan acquired that "special set of skills," and fans of the movies can also enjoy the show.

The Punisher
Marvel's most dangerous anti-hero was brought to brutal life in this former Netflix series, which is now on Disney+. Jon Bernthal is Frank Castle, a Marine whose family was killed in a brutal shootout. Taking on the name of the Punisher, Castle wages a one-man war on crime without prisoners while hunting who was responsible for his family's deaths.
The Punisher doesn't shy away from some brutal violence as Castle uses everything at his disposal to take down anyone in his path. The second season has his rescue of a young woman leading to a clash with a powerful gang. It's probably the darkest MCU series, but it fits as Reacher himself would have a tough time trying to take The Punisher down.
