Luke Kleintank has left FBI: International. That means no more Forrester, but what did it mean for Tank?
Tank is Forrester’s dog, but he happens to be a great team member for the Fly Team. Tank was around a lot in the first season until he became lethargic and then needed surgery. After that, he hasn’t been around as much, and it’s led to questions about when fans would see him again.
Before finding out Kleintank would leave the series, we learned Tank would be in the FBI: International Season 3 finale. Then we learned about Kleintank’s exit, and it had us wondering about Tank. Would we lose Tank as well as Forrester?
Tank is sticking around in FBI: International
It looks like it’s good news for fans of the four-legged team member. Tank was in the finale, and he appeared right at the very end. The Fly Team learned that Forrester is still alive, but he isn’t coming back. He’d found his mom and they had gone off the grid to safety for his mom’s sake. It’s a beautiful ending for Forrester who has always wanted to find out what happened with his mom and wanted to clear her name. He doesn’t get to do that, but he does get to make up for lost time.
As for Tank, he was still in Budapest. Raines walked him into the new office to the group, where Smitty quickly greeted him with a smile. It looks like Tank will remain the team member’s dog, but it’s not clear who he’ll be living with now.
Tank will certainly need some stability after this. Dogs do suffer from grief, and he won’t understand that Forrester didn’t really want to leave him behind. Sure, Tank has been left behind with other humans he knows, but it’s not the same as the one he’s been with for so long. At least we have a chance of seeing Tank again.
