The Equalizer Season 4 is close to its end. CBS has set the finale dates for the current seasons, and that includes this show.

The Queen Latifah series will wrap up Season 4 on Sunday, May 19. This is around the usual time for finales. In fact, most CBS shows are wrapping up around the normal time of year. NCIS and NCIS: Hawaii were the bigger shockers with the early May finale dates.

As of right now, we don’t know if this will end up being the series finale. CBS hasn’t confirmed many renewals just yet.

Will there be any breaks in the schedule?

With the finale, it means we can look at whether there will be any more breaks. After all, The Equalizer Season 4 has had a few breaks due to scheduling, and we have another one coming up on Sunday, April 14. The next new episode will air on Sunday, April 21.

There is some excellent news. When the series does return, there will be no more breaks. There are five episodes left to air and five Sundays including May 19. Unless there is something unexpected that happens and the finale has to be pushed back a week, there is no need for a week off. That will be exciting news for fans.

We don’t know much of what’s to come in the season, though. There is a lot going on with personal stories right now, including Robyn McCall needing to help find a way to relieve the burden of her family knowing what she does.

When will The Equalizer Season 5 premiere?

Eyes are now on the future of the series. We would love to see more of Queen Latifah in action. The bad news is CBS hasn’t renewed the series just yet. We’re sure to see this show land a renewal, but we’re waiting for confirmation at this point.

If the show is renewed, we’re sure to see it return in the fall. There’s no reason to push the show to the midseason.

The Equalizer airs Sundays at 8/7c on CBS.
