The Equalizer Season 4 is taking its first break (but why?)
We are ready for a new episode of The Equalizer tonight, Sunday, March 10. Sadly, the series isn’t ready for us. CBS is taking a night off from its usual Sunday night drama lineup.
Yes, that means other Sunday night shows are also taking a break. Tracker and CSI: Vegas won’t air new episodes either. There’s nothing wrong with the shows. This is a planned break due to something else big going on another network.
There aren’t any reruns of the usual dramas tonight. A new episode of 60 Minutes airs in The Equalizer’s place, and then we have two hours of So Help Me Todd reruns.
When will The Equalizer return with new episodes?
What’s going on with the schedule? Well, this is linked to something airing on ABC. The Oscars will air tonight, and the other networks won’t want to go up against that. Not only is it a risk to the linear ratings, but the networks will want to support awards shows as a lot of actors, directors, and more are recognized throughout the night.
This is only a one-week break. The Equalizer will return on Sunday, March 17. It’s not a St. Paddy’s themed episode, though, by the looks of the promo. Although, there may be an element of luck involved. It looks like McCall is heading to some sort of underground casino, and she is going to attempt to win big to get whatever justice she’s after.
However, it’s going to be much harder when she is completely on her own. Mel and Dante can’t go in with her this time.
Take a look at the promo for the new episode while we wait:
The Equalizer returns on Sunday, March 17 at 8/7c on CBS. Catch up on the series on Paramount+.
