After a long mid-season break, The Irrational is back. We’re ready to see what’s to come in Season 1, Episode 8.
The series took an unexpected break back in November. We should have known when NBC didn’t release any details about the episode, but we’ve seen NBC act strangely with promotion material for shows in the past.
Well, the show needed a break as it had ran out of episodes due to the strike action. Production started back up as soon as it could, and now the show is back in action. The Irrational Season 1, Episode 8 airs on Monday, Jan. 29, and here’s what we can expect.
The case is personal in The Irrational Season 1, Episode 8
Alec will take on a case that is a little personal to him. The victim is a young burn victim, and Alec knows what it is like to go through this. He knows that anger and pain—both mentally and physically. After all, Alec still doesn’t remember everything that happened to him leading to the burns that he got, and he suffers from survivor’s guilt.
This case is more than just the victim that gets personal for him, though. It turns out that there was arson, and this is going to force Alec to connect with everything that happened to him. He always tells a lie about what happened to him when people ask, but it may be time for him to face the truth of everything that he went through.
Meanwhile, we’ll get to see more of Phoebe and Rizwan. They are competing for an important research grant. Is that together or against each other? The synopsis isn’t that clear. I’m guessing it’s against each other, which is sure to add some lighter moments to the episode.
