The Rookie is taking its first break of Season 6 tonight (March 12)
We actually expected this break to come last Tuesday with it being Super Tuesday. Instead, the break in The Rookie’s schedule comes this week. Take a look at all the details as to why and when the show will return.
All of ABC’s Tuesday dramas are taking a break this week. Yes, that includes Will Trent, which airs in the hour slot before the Nathan Fillion drama.
There is a rerun on, at the very least. You get the chance to head back to the Season 6 premiere, which initially picks up with the aftermath of the attack on the team before jumping ahead in time. We knew Thorsen was going to survive, but there was a lot of work to do to figure out who was behind the attack and why.
When will The Rookie return with new episodes?
This is a somewhat longer break than we would like. At the end of the latest episode, we got a promo that told us the show would return in three weeks. That's right; we have to wait for Tuesday, March 26.
In some good news, we have an idea of what to expect in The Rookie Season 6, Episode 4. The promo tells us that Nolan and Juarez are heading out to a call that involved a dead body. Harper explains that this is connected to a serial killer, known as The Pentagram Killer. It even sounds like someone knows who this killer is. The cops get a call from his wife.
This is where it's about to get even crazier than it started. This wife shares that her husband has been dead for seven years. If he's dead, how is he the killer? That's what Nolan and Juarez will need to get to the bottom of. It really is just another Tuesday in the world of The Rookie.
The Rookie returns on Tuesday, March 26 at 9/8c on ABC. Catch up on the series on Hulu.
