Are you ready for a new series? The great news is regular broadcast TV is almost back to normal, and that means some new content. Tracker is one of the new crime dramas you’ll want to look out for.
The series will get the prime spot after the Super Bowl on CBS. This is the spot The Equalizer got for its series premiere, and it proved to be a huge success. We’re hoping the same thing will happen for Tracker, since we know that Justin Hartley deserves another hit show.
Of course, before you get into any new show, you need to know a little about it. What is this one about? Is it going to be for you?
Tracker focuses on a lone-wolf survivalist
The series follows Colter Shaw (Hartley), a lone-wolf survivalist who loves to get his hands on bounties and rewards. He has his own expert tracking skills that he uses to find missing people, criminal undergrounds, and more. He’ll help private citizens, organizations, and law enforcement—as long as there’s a reward, he is there to help.
Of course, there’s a personal storyline for Colter. Nobody who had a great upbringing would get into this sort of life. He has his own fractured family that he needs to contend with.
The premiere episode will introduce us to Colter and the other main characters, including Colter’s handlers, Velma and Teddi Bruin. He heads out to Klamath Falls, Oregon to investigate the disappearance of Gil Brown, a 14-year-old who may have been taken by his birth dad.
While the premiere episode will air on Sunday, Feb. 11 after the Super Bowl, it will then move to Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT. There will be an encore of the premiere episode on Thursday, Feb. 15 before going into the regular schedule the week after.
