This series takes a look into exactly what the title suggests: the most notorious killers around the world. There are interviews with those close to the victims, and a look into how the killers were eventually caught.

Peacock will drop this series as a binge release on Tuesday, Sept. 17. Each episode is a standalone case, so you can watch them in any order that you like.

What to expect in World’s Most Notorious Killers
Each episode takes us around the world. While the first episode takes place in Gloucester, England, we then head to Austria, Belgium, Australia, and Southeast Asia. It’s a scary world!
Episode 1: The West Murders
This first episode takes us to Gloucester, England, where a search for a missing girl lead to a shocking and terrifying discovery. Fred and Rose West had a graveyard under their home. What twisted family secrets were revealed?
Episode 2: The Vienna Strangler
In the second episode, we head to Vienna, Austria, where there is a series of deaths with links to LA, California. Jack Unterweger becomes the world’s first transatlantic serial killer. This is one of those cases where he was hiding in plain sight, reminding you to be careful about who you trust.
Episode 3: The Monster of Belgium
We head to Belgium for the third episode, where six girls go missing. It’s clear “The Monster” is involved, but this serial killer may not be working alone. What if he’s working with an international pedophile ring?
Episode 4: The Murder Down Under
When Lynette Dawson goes missing in 1982, Christopher Dawson is the suspect. After all, it’s usually the husband, right? It took police 40 years to solve this case, despite Christopher moving their teenager babysitter into their home shortly after Lynette’s disappearance.
Episode 5: The Serpent
The final episode is the shocking story of Charles Sobhraj. After tourists in Southeast Asia are mysteriously killed, Charles confesses to everything. Now a free man, he shares his story exclusively for this series.
