Tonight is all about The Equalizer season 5 fall finale, and it’s going to bring everything we need in terms of drama in Robyn’s life. Just make sure you tune in at the right time!
Yes, it is the fall finale—or winter finale if you refer to it the way CBS does. We’re at that point in the year when the shows go on their winter breaks, helping to space out the content and not run the risk of low ratings while people do other things with family over the holiday season.
This is going to be a big episode, as well. Just keep in mind that it’s on at an earlier than normal time. We’re heading back to the time that it would have aired last year!
The Equalizer airs straight after 60 Minutes
We’ll get a new episode at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT tonight, Sunday, Dec. 8. This is straight after a new episode of 60 Minutes.
Yes, The Equalizer is on in the timeslot it had from when it first aired. It was only this year that things changed, with Tracker proving to be the slightly more successful show to kick off the night. However, Tracker won’t air a new episode tonight, and it’s better for CBS to start the night off with a new episode of a show rather than reruns into a new episode.
Tracker will air a rerun at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT, straight after this episode.
What to expect in The Equalizer season 5 fall finale
The episode will finally see Miles and Dante come face to face. It was about time considering both men are showing an interest in Robyn. Look, we’re on Team Dante, but there’s no doubt that Robyn and Miles make some sense. They were married, and it’s easy for those old feelings to start coming back. Robyn and Dante haven’t made anything official, and just as they started to explore their feelings for each other, they ended up living on the opposite side of the country from each other.
However, there is something more pressing happening. There’s a hostage situation at the hospital thanks to a drug cartel rolling in. It looks like Dante’s life is on the line, and that could push Robyn and Dante to finally admit their full feelings for each other.
The Equalizer airs tonight at 8:30/7:30c on CBS. Catch up the following day on Paramount+.
