We may be entering the summer months, but that doesn’t mean there’s nothing to watch across broadcast, cable, and streaming. Revival is one of the shows to check out, especially if you like your murder mysteries with a bit of a supernatural twist.
The big question for many people is where a show will stream after it airs live. Revival will premiere on Syfy on Thursday, June 12, and usually, that means a release on Peacock. And while yes, the series will head to Peacock, it’s not going to be the following day.
Here’s when Revival will air on Peacock
While Syfy and USA Network are both NBCUniversal-owned networks, they don’t follow the same pattern as NBC when it comes to Peacock releases. Each show can end up being different when it comes to Syfy releases. In fact, SurrealEstate season 3 didn’t head to Peacock until the entire season had aired on Syfy.
Don’t worry; you won’t need to wait until the entire first season of Revival airs on Syfy to watch it on Peacock. You will have to wait more than a day after, though. Revival drops on Peacock the week after it airs, so it will constantly be a week behind.
How is Revival a murder mystery?
On the forefront of the series, Revival looks to be some supernatural mystery. People have come back from the dead on the day now known as “Revival Day,” and we see how a small town in Wisconsin is dealing with this. The dead aren’t welcome, and they need to fit back into the world that they left behind.
However, there is a murder mystery, as Dana Cypress needs to figure out who killed someone. The question is whether you can really view it as murder when the victim has been brought back to life. On top of that, shouldn’t the victim remember who killed them? This certainly adds another layer to watch could be yet another zombie series!
Revival will premiere on Thursday, June 12 at 10/9c on Syfy and stream on Peacock the following week.
