The whole point of witness protection is to keep a witness safe until trial. In a lot of cases, it works, but there are times when the criminals find out where the witness has been kept. After all, they’re not exactly going to stop just because a trail goes dead.
And so, Mickey and Boone will need to work together, with their time together coming to an end. Well, maybe. After all, it’s unlikely that Boone is actually going to leave Edgewater.
What time will Sheriff Country season 1 episode 5 air on CBS?
Sheriff Country continues to take the 8 p.m. ET/PT timeslot tonight, Friday, Nov. 14. There’s no need to change what is working, and there’s certainly a lot of love for this cop show. One of the great things about Sheriff Country is that the town is its own character, which Fire Country was never able to quite capture.

What to expect in Sheriff Country season 1 episode 5
Now for the episode itself, which will see Boone and Mickey working together. It looks like Boone arresting Skye is water under the bridge, although I really would be questioning why he didn’t try harder to find the real suspect when there were inconsistencies in the evidence. He really did get an idea and run with it, even though he didn’t really think it was Skye.

It looks like he may be running from something in his past. When he answered the call to get the Oakland position, we learned that’s where he’s from, but in the promo for Sheriff Country season 1 episode 5, he shares that you can’t hide from your past. This is likely when chatting with the woman in witness protection who is being targeted, but he could also mean himself.
