Bex and the team will have a very different case in The Hunting Party season 1, episode 8. The sneak peek makes it clear that they’re not after the usual killer.

This is the episode I’ve personally been waiting for. There are so many intriguing elements to the case, and Keto Shimizu shared more about the inspiration behind the killer in this one during our exclusive interview.

Now we have a sneak peek of events from the episode, as Morales runs through the initial details of the first kill. Bex thinks she knows who they’re dealing with, but there’s a shocking twist.

Dealing with a copycat in The Hunting Party season 1, episode 8

The sneak peek starts with Bex sharing that Denise Glenn was the one behind this type of killing back in the day. While Denise was one of the inmates in The Pit, she’s not the one out there recreating her kills. Hassani and Odell make it clear that Denise Glenn was pulled from the rubble and is back in custody.

That means there’s a copycat. Bex is stumped, as it means she can’t just go off what she knows about Denise Glenn to start with. She’s also going to have to get Denise to work with her, and why would a serial killer do that?

There is a small glimpse of the killer in the episode. It’s clear that this killer goes back to see people finding their kills, which makes sense if this person is showing his or her love for Denise’s original work. They will want to see how the police and the public react, especially since these kills have been staged out in the open.

There are some visual elements to the kill that may put a few people off. We see a lot of detail in how the celloist has been staged on the park bench, but the question is whether this was before or after death. There’s a lot about this episode that is intriguing.
