After dealing with a case that involved dreams and potential cellular memories, Alec and the team need to save a horse from euthanasia in The Irrational season 2, episode 13. Let’s take a look at what to expect.
Alec and his research assistants had some interesting debates in the most recent episode. Do donor recipients end up with memories and personality traits of the people they receive the donor organs from? Simon brought research to suggest that they do, but Phoebe wasn’t completely convinced. Alec was clearly on the fence because while the science isn’t’ there yet, it doesn’t mean that it won’t be in the future.
Now it’s time to save a horse, though. This horse killed someone, but does that mean a death sentence is in order?
What happened with the horse in The Irrational season 2, episode 13
Whenever an animal hurts someone, it’s the animal that is put on trial, so to speak. Most of the time, it leads to euthanasia, because of course, it’s the animal’s fault. The problem is most of the time it’s the human’s fault, and it’s time humans take accountability rather than the animals.
That being said, the human can’t take accountability in this episode. The human has been murdered by the horse. Murdered is a strong term, though. Murder means having the thought process to kill, and a lot of animals, unless they’re killing to eat, are just acting in self-defense.
Alec, Phoebe, Rizwan, and Simon are all on a mission to save the horse. It turns out that not everything is as it seems. Is it possible that the horse thought they were attacking someone else? Did someone kill the victim and make it look like the horse did it? There are a lot of questions going into this episode.
Check out the synopsis for The Irrational season 2, episode 13:
