Look, we are all ready to see Chenford get back together. The attraction and friendship are still there. We see them banter between each other, and it’s only allowing the feelings to continue to grow. Is it possible that a charity gala is all they need to get back together?
Meanwhile, Bailey is taking a step to protect herself, but it’s not something Nolan is happy about. This episode is shaping up to be full of drama.
What’s in store for Chenford in The Rookie season 7, episode 6?
There’s a charity gala, which means everyone from the precinct are dressing up. Bradford notes that Lucy “always” looks good, and it’s true. She looks amazing at these types of events. The look that he gives her, though, makes it clear that he regrets so much. Lucy should be on his arm tonight.
There is a moment where Bradford is shirtless in a room with Lucy. She says “we can’t,” and while Bradford knows that they shouldn’t, it’s clear that they likely will. Of course, this could be one of those moments that is interrupted, meaning that we have to wait a little longer for Bradford to realize everything he’s lost and attempt to get it all back.
If the two get back together, they will need to have a long discussion about what led to them breaking up in the first place. That’s essential for a second-chance relationship.
Meanwhile, Bailey has decided to put a hit out on her ex-husband. She thinks that this is essential if she wants to feel safe. I get it, but is it the right thing to do? Nolan doesn’t think so, but is he talking as a husband or as a cop?
He may not have much say in the conversation if he forgot to get Bailey a gift, though. She wants to do Valentine’s Day, and I get the feeling that they probably should have talked about this. Not everyone does Valentine’s Day.
