Do they take it and both move, do they take it and only they move, or do they not take it? It looks like Bailey and Nolan will need to have this discussion on The Rookie, because Bailey gets a job offer.
This job offer will take her to DC, and that’s a great opportunity. Sure, there are likely police jobs out there, and Nolan will want to support his wife in her career. The problem is that it’s not as simple as a transfer.
Because the police training is by state, it requires new training. In fact, Nolan isn’t even guaranteed a job with the DC police, and he would need to reapply and go through the rookie training once more. While Nolan is no stranger at working from the bottom as an older rookie, he is five years older, and it could be a much riskier move.
So, the couple will need to have a discussion about what’s right for them. Is now the time to move, or will Bailey need to give up this opportunity for Nolan?

Meanwhile, Angela and Wesley will need to make some sort of decision. There is a “life” decision that could affect their future, which seems to rule out the discussion about money. The topic of money has come up a lot recently, with Lopez recently talking with Harper about whether she should quit her job or not. But this is a woman who loves putting away the bad guys, so she probably wouldn’t quit.
So, what’s the discussion? It could be another baby, as we know the two of them end up with surprise pregnancies all the time. However, it could also be linked to another career opportunity, but then we’d see “career” rather than “life” in the synopsis. Color me intrigued.
