While many shows are on a break for the Winter Olympics, LA’s finest will continue to solve crimes. The Rookie season 8 episode 6 airs tonight, Monday, Feb. 9, with a Valentine’s Day-themed episode.
Will it be a happy Valentine’s Day? Well, that depends on the couple, as there are plenty of reasons for arguments to start during the new episode.

As you’ll remember, The Rookie has now moved to Mondays. We do have to question this decision still, especially with High Potential going on a break until March. But here we are, with the LAPD fighting crime on a new night.
The Rookie season 8 episode 6 will air at 10 p.m. ET/PT tonight, straight after a new episode of American Idol. You’ll be able to watch with ABC, which you can watch via your regular cable provider.
Have you cut the cord? Then you’ll want to turn your attention to Fubo TV or YouTube TV to watch live. If you’re not watching live, then you’ll need Hulu. The episode will drop on Tuesday, Feb. 10 at 3 a.m. ET/12 a.m. PT.
What to expect on The Rookie season 8 episode 6
The new episode is set at Valentine’s Day, which makes sense with Valentine’s Day falling on Saturday. We’ll see the couples all at different stages, with Bailey and Nolan struggling to deal with their current issues. Nolan is trying to make his marriage work, but Bailey isn’t happy that he won’t move to DC.

Meanwhile, Celina wonders if Miles is cursed when it comes with relationships. She decides that it’s time to remove that curse, which is sure to bring some hilarity to the episode. It looks like she’s also focused on saving lives during a dinner for Wesley, as he starts his political career. When a man tries to attack Wesley with a knife, Celina rushes straight in to save him.
Where’s Angela? She is with her husband, but she’s behind him at the time. We’re sure to see her step in at some point, though. This won’t lead to issues between them, with the main focus of their relationship being on Wesley’s career choices and public scrutiny on the family.
Then there’s Tim and Lucy, who will get their first Valentine’s Day while living together. Lucy has lost the Valentine’s gift she’s bought, though, and now she’s panicking to find it!
