It’s been one long wait for new episodes of Tracker. There is some great news tonight, Sunday, Feb. 16.

The series is back. Now that the football is over for another season, Sunday nights are back to some sort of consistency. The drama will begin at 8 p.m. ET/PT, and we get a full night of CBS drama on Sundays!

What to expect in Tracker season 2, episode 9

The new episode will see Colter team up with retired cop Keaton once more. I always worry when guest stars are brought in for big cases, and that’s what this is. Is it possible that Colter will need to live with the death of someone else on his hands as he deals with his white whale case?

The two are on the hunt for someone known as “The Disciple.” This is a dangerous serial killer, and it could have a connection to Gina Pickett, Colter’s white whale case that we learned about at the start of the second season.

There is a promo out for the episode, but it doesn’t focus too much on the individual episode. We get a look at cases past and present throughout the clip.

Something that we are looking forward to later this season is the return of Jensen Ackles. That has to happen, right? When Ackles was confirmed as part of Tracker season 2, it was supposed to be for multiple episodes, and he’s only been back for one episode so far.

There is still plenty to learn about Colter’s family and the past. There are a few secrets coming out, but not enough to be able to piece all the clues together.

As for Dory, it may be harder to get Melissa Roxburgh back. She is currently busy leading her own new series, The Hunting Party.

Tracker airs on Sundays at 8/7c on CBS. Catch up the following day on Paramount+.
