Is a new episode of Tracker on tonight? (January 19, 2025)

It's another Sunday, and that means we want to see a new episode of Tracker. What's going on with the CBS schedule tonight, Sunday, Jan. 19?

Sundays are supposed to be all about CBS dramas. That’s not the case tonight, Sunday, Jan. 19. There isn’t a new episode of Tracker on yet.

This won’t be surprising to a lot of Tracker fans. CBS already warned us that we wouldn’t get any new episodes of the series tonight. Of course, that doesn’t stop us from double checking, as there have been some changes to schedules recently.

Is there a rerun of Tracker on tonight?

If there isn’t a new episode, what about a rerun? There is more bad news. CBS won’t have the chance to air a rerun of Tracker season 2.

Tonight is all about the Division Playoff games. CBS will air the later game of the night, and coverage of that is set to start at 6:30 p.m. ET/3:30 p.m. PT. The game is schedule to run through to 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT, although it could run later if the game goes into overtime.

Of course, while there could have been a Tracker rerun placed after the game, that’s not happening. CBS is playing it safe with a rerun of the rebooted Hollywood Squares. At least if there is something pushed back, it won’t affect too many plans.

When will Tracker season 2 return with new episodes?

CBS made it clear that Sunday nights wouldn’t return back to normal for a while. It’s all about football and award shows this time of year, and CBS has decided not to disrupt the scripted shows because of that.

CBS has tried bringing shows back in January before, and it didn’t work out well. There would be one episode and then a three-week break, leading to fans questioning what the point of bringing a show back for a week was.

So, instead of that, we’ll have to wait until after the Super Bowl. Tracker season 2 will return with new episodes on Sunday, Feb. 16. It will continue to kick off Sunday nights at 8/7c on CBS.

Tracker is available to stream on Paramount+ while you wait for the show to return.
