There is some good and bad news when it comes to Tracker this week, Sunday, Feb. 9. We’re so close to getting new episodes back!

As we all know, Tracker has been off the air since December. We knew this break would be a long one, and for many weeks, we didn’t even get reruns of the series. Well, this Sunday brings us a light at the end of the tunnel.

Why isn’t Tracker new tonight?

There isn’t a new episode of Tracker on tonight, Sunday, Feb. 9. This won’t be surprising to a lot of people. The Super Bowl will air on FOX, and there isn’t a chance that any of the networks would go up against that. Whether people are watching the game, the commercials, or the Halftime Show, this is a huge moment of the year and it’s suicide for other networks to attempt to go up against it.

The good news is that CBS isn’t airing the game. That means there is room for reruns. And yes, Tracker will get reruns throughout the night. We have a full three-hour block of reruns to catch us up to where we are in the story!

If you don’t want to watch those episodes, remember that you can turn to Paramount+. This is where all CBS shows stream the following day and the majority of shows have full past seasons available.

When will Tracker return with new episodes?

Now for the great news. The break is so close to being over. We’ll get new episodes of Tracker next Sunday, Feb. 16. Tune in at 8 p.m. ET/PT. This is the time of year when the Sunday schedule on CBS is more consistent. There are no football games pre-empting episodes by 30 minutes or more.

When the series returns, Colter is back on his white whale case. Keaton, the retired cop, is back, and the two are on the case of a serial killer. This may finally give Colter answers about what happened to Gina Pickett.

Check out the synopsis for Tracker season 2, episode 9:

"A new lead in Colter’s white whale case, the disappearance of Gina Picket, brings him and retired cop Keaton (guest star Brent Sexton) back together to track down a serial killer."

Tracker returns on Sunday, Feb. 16 at 8/7c on CBS.
