Fall TV is here, and that means our favorite shows are returning. Law & Order is one of the shows returning, and it’s for a milestone 25th season. You will not want to miss a beat of this season.
The first episode is sure to bring us the reason Jalen Shaw has left the team. We know that Mehcad Brooks isn’t returning for Law & Order season 25, but we do know that he’s not leaving New York, which means we could hear of what he’s up to now.
Something else we don’t know is who Riley will get as a new partner. There won’t be a permanent one for a while, but that doesn’t mean he won’t be working with other detectives. We’ll get to see someone working with Riley during the first episode based on some of the images released, but we could get a revolving door of partners or even see Riley working cases alone.

Yes, Thursday nights are back to what they once were, with Law & Order: SVU and then Law & Order: Organized Crime season 5. Yes, the latter is already available to stream in full on Peacock, as it turned into a Peacock Original for the season.
After this, each episode will air on Thursdays at 8/7c on NBC. There are sure to be breaks in the season around Thanksgiving and Christmas, and then the show will return likely with its on-off schedule that NBC thrives on.

What to expect in the Law & Order season 25 premiere
The first episode is set to see Brady and the squad investigate the death of an exonerated murder suspect. Is this a case of vigilante justice when the justice system failed to do what it was supposed to do, or is this a case of an innocent man getting attacked by someone who refuses to believe the truth?
Well, it looks like it could be the former, as a major lead points to ADA Maroun. We know that Price is sure that Maroun was focused on getting justice for her sister’s murder, and she may have taken that justice into her own hands in the Law & Order season 24 finale. If there is a guilty verdict, what does this mean for his whole office?
Law & Order airs on Thursdays at 8/7c on NBC.
