Finale season is upon us. While CBS made all the dates clear, we’ve had to work things out for NBC and ABC. The good news is we know when the Law & Order: SVU season 26 finale is set to air now based on the number of episodes left.
Captain Olivia Benson will be back tonight, Thursday, May 1, after taking the night off last week. There are now just three episodes left of the season, but will there be another break on the way?
Law & Order: SVU season 26 finale date on NBC
There’s great news for those who want a string of new episodes. The break last week was the last of the season. We’ll get three new episodes each week until Thursday, May 15. The episode will air at 9/8c as it has done this whole season.
This is the night all three Thursday dramas are coming to an end for this current season. It’s also around the usual time of year for NBC’s Thursday shows.
What to expect in Law & Order: SVU season 26, episode 20
Before we get to the finale, though, we have a new episode airing tonight. This episode will see Benson and her team in a race against time to save a young girl. At first, it looks like the young girl just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time when the vehicle she was in was stolen. However, it’s soon clear that this wasn’t a crime of opportunity but a planned one.
The promo shows that there are two perps, and there is a video of them taking the young girl to a white van. This makes it much harder for Benson and her team to find the guys, but they will never give up.
