We’re closing in on the finales of all our favorite TV shows. While ABC hasn’t announced all the finale dates, we have a rough idea as to when the Will Trent season 3 finale will air.
CBS is the only network to announce all finale dates. Other networks have left it until the week before to make it clear that we’ll get finales, and I’m not sure which way I like it. I preferably love to know when finales are so I can plan for the dates. Well, I’ve worked out a rough date.
A rough date for the Will Trent season 3 finale on ABC
While ABC hasn’t announced the dates, we know that there are 18 episodes to the season. Episode 14 has just aired, which means we’re looking at four weeks left for episodes to air. That puts the Will Trent season 3 finale date as of Tuesday, May 13.
Now, there is a chance that we’ll have a week off coming up, but the whole point of Will Trent premiering in January was to prevent the break in the schedules. There was one break due to politics, and that has allowed the season to end in the middle of May, which is normal for ABC. We tend to see ABC finales air a week before most of CBS and NBC finales — although this year is very different.
There’s great news about Will Trent season 4
While we wait for the finale, eyes are also on if there will be more to the series. This is where there is some excellent news. Will Trent season 4 is officially happening.
ABC has renewed almost all of its current dramas and comedies. The only show we’re waiting on is Doctor Odyssey, and we didn’t expect Will Trent to be canceled. The show is performing better in linear ratings compared to season 2, so of course ABC was going to want it to stick around!
Now we’ll just have to wait to see how the third season ends to get an idea of what to expect in season 4. Hopefully, we’ll get to see more of Marion Alba since we know Gina Rodriguez won’t return in season 3!
