Will needs to deal with matters of the heart in Will Trent season 3, episode 6. Along with that, there’s a case.

Will Trent brought us an important and needed Faith Mitchell hour on Tuesday, Feb. 4. It was a chance to delve into Faith’s past as she struggled to figure out who had taken her mom and why. There was a lot to unpack, and the episode certainly deserves another watch.

Now it’s time for us to return to a Will-centric storyline. There will also be more time with Angie as she goes on the hunt for a serial killer.

Will struggles to move on with his heart in Will Trent season 3, episode 6

There are clearly sparks between Will and Marion. While Marion is currently going through a divorce (so technically not single), she is clearly interested in Will. They have a lot in common in the way that they view the world, but Will has been going through a bad breakup himself. He feels guilty for moving on from Angie and starting a relationship with Marion.

Nobody can deny the chemistry, though. Faith is all for Will moving forward in the name of love, and so, it looks like he’ll finally ask Marion to dinner. Will she say yes?

Meanwhile, there is a case to deal with. When a body is found with her tongue cut out, it all connects back to a previous killer. Angie is sure they have their killer, but this man claims that he didn’t even kill his prom date. He didn’t deserve to go to prison, and he won’t go back.

The case itself is going to force Will to face his past, and this could help him realize that he needs to give love another chance. As the GBI and Atlanta PD work through the clues, they realize that the entire case could be much closer to home. It’s far more personal than Will ever thought possible.
