NCIS: What could have been in Torres’ letter to Bishop?
There was a lot of fun in NCIS with Torres being hypnotized and it ended with Bishop holding a letter he wrote to her. What was in that letter?
We got a chance to see Torres hypnotized in NCIS Season 17, Episode 5. Okay, so we didn’t quite see what Dr. Grace did while he was hypnotized, but we got an idea. And one of those events was writing a letter to Bishop.
Now, of course, we want to know what it is. Bishop certainly enjoyed holding it over him, and he certainly had a look of concern. We never got to know the full details, and now it’s a storyline that may never come up again but we all want some sort of closure, right?

For the last couple of seasons, we’ve had the odd episodes where it’s looked like Bishop and Torres could be the next Ziva and Tony. No, I’m not saying that they’ll be a direct replacement—nothing can replace Ziva and Tony—but that they’ll be the next in-office couple. We’ve had hints, but nothing has come about just yet.
Could it be possible that the letter included some mentions of love? Probably not. Bishop would take something like that seriously. There’s absolutely no way that she would hold something like that over Torres. She’s just simply not that mean.
It suggests that he’s shared some sort of childhood embarrassing memory or admitted to something that he did in jest. Maybe he’s owned up to something that Bishop has suspected him of in the past.
Hey, he could have even written down his passwords for his emails! That would be something to joke about, but we know Bishop wouldn’t use them to her advantage.
I wouldn’t put it past the NCIS writers to include some sort of prank in here. It could be possible that Bishop has managed to forge Torres’ handwriting, making it look like he wrote a letter. She’ll be able to use it to get what she wants until it all comes out that there was nothing in the contents after all.
Personally, I get the feeling it’s not going to come up again. If it does, it could be something that brings the two together.
