Steve McGarrett is heading to Mexico in Hawaii Five-0 Season 10, Episode 7, and he’s going there alone. There’s some family drama to take care of, and not your usual kind. Here’s a look at the synopsis for the episode to get ready for tomorrow night.
Titled “Ka ‘i’o,” which translates to DNA, the Nov. 8 episode will see McGarrett’s mother go rogue. At least, that’s the story that McGarrett is told. She’s killed agents and now she’s wanted by the CIA. Of course, we know that there’s going to be something bigger at play, right?

McGarrett is sure there’s something bigger going on, but there’s only one way that he can get his mother back. That’s why he’s going to Mexico alone, which is where he knows she is. When they come face-to-face, will it be the mother-son reunion that we hope it would be? Probably not if the promo is anything to go off.
What’s Steve going to do once he does have his mother back, anyway? He’ll need to prove her innocence but what if she isn’t innocent after all? I’m sure Steve doesn’t want to believe that’s the case, but he’ll think on the spot if it is.
It’s a sad situation for Steve. He is always there for his mother, even willing to go to another country alone to get her back and prove her innocence when she may not even be innocent! His mother has barely ever been there for him, but it shows that unconditional love a child can have for a son. The sadness in his eyes during the promo is heartbreaking and certainly sets the tone for the episode tomorrow.
